Photography has been a love of mine for as long as I can remember.  My grandparents gave me our treasured family albums from the early 1900s when I was 12 because they knew I loved the art of storytelling through photography.  Believing photos are timeless heirlooms, I like to combine a mixture of traditional and free movement approaches to photography that bring out the real, connected images I’m after.  I want your session to be a memorable event for you and your family with beautiful images to treasure for years to come.  This means not all photos will be perfect, it’s not what authentic moments are about.  What I will provide for you are the photos I caught of you laughing at your child or closing your eyes because you received a hug from a loved one.  My hope is that your photos will be a chance to see your family in the way you naturally love each other and reflect the authentic season you are in.
